01 — THE JOY OF PLAYING
Start with a selection of free games, right in the app.
Logic, planning, observation: enjoy thinking about your next move. Play against the computer, tackle a solo challenge or share a game on the same device.
Choose your game and take time to work it out.
Additional games will be offered, some free and others paid.
02 — THE JOY OF CREATING
The workshop, planned for the paid version, turns your ideas into games you can try, refine and share.
Choose the board’s shape, dimensions and spaces. Place the pieces that will start the game.
Place, move, jump, capture… Combine actions and decide what it takes to win.
Test your creation against the computer. Keep it on your device and share its game definition by QR code or text.
Start with an empty board or a suggested template. Possible combinations depend on the rules supported by the workshop.
TRULY DIFFERENT GAMES
Strategy, deduction, chance, skill or puzzles: the games in the development version show the breadth of InZeBoard. Here are concrete examples of the game families the tool lets you explore.
Chess · Draughts · Xiangqi
Pieces with different moves, captures and an opponent to anticipate. Change the pieces, their moves or the goal to explore a different strategy.
Reversi
A single placement can flip several opposing pieces. Surrounding pieces and changing their side offer another way to take over the board.
Arrange blocks as they fall
Pieces fall: move them, rotate them and complete lines. Timing and placement matter as much as thinking ahead.
Find a secret combination
Work out a hidden combination using the clues given after each attempt. A family built around information, hypotheses and logic.
Backgammon
The dice set the possibilities; you choose the moves. Paths, blocking and bearing off pieces bring chance and strategy together.
Awalé · Kalah · Congkak
Take the seeds from one space, distribute them along the path and prepare your harvests. The mancala family puts quantities at the heart of the game.
Sliding puzzle · Towers of Hanoi
Slide tiles into an empty space or move discs between stacks. Find the sequence of moves that leads to the target arrangement.
Go · Hex
Surround areas or connect the board’s edges. Placement rules give rise to very different goals and ways of thinking.
Pieces covering several spaces · Triangular and hexagonal dominoes
Arrange shapes while respecting their contact rules. The geometry of the pieces becomes a rule in its own right.
Moving a knight, cracking a code, sowing seeds or guiding a falling piece: different kinds of gameplay brought together in one tool.
These examples are present in the development version and illustrate the tool’s possibilities. The families describe game mechanics, without announcing commercial titles for the final offering. The distributed selection, names and associated rights remain to be validated; some examples may be removed or adapted.
